I've only seen Plushenko's LP so far.
Up until the fall, he was doing absoutely wonderful. The fall: it looked painful, but he did not fall on a jump. He fell on the prep for the jump. I'm not sure what happened, he just lost his edge. In mens competition, Evan Lysacek (USA) beat Andrei Griazev, who won the silver. Chris Mabee of Canada won the bronze.

In the ladies SP, Elena Liashenko is in 1st place, even after falling on the triple flip. Suguri was second, with a fall on the triple lutz, and Yoshie Onda was 3rd even though she skated clean. Who says the new system will not value artistry?
