This is a recent program Evgeny skated the end of last October from Russian tv. It is a classic Evgeny program. The violinist, whose name is Edvin Marton, (I
finally found out his name ) is at centre ice playing his violin. I enjoyed watching
it.

enjoying being a mother. Says she is disappointed there are no medal contenders among the Russian women, but that there is a good program in place now so
things should be better in the future. She is still skating every day because she enjoys it, but does not feel the need to compete anymore and is happy with

I am not thrilled about the current Russian pairs, though I feel there is a chance I may like Mukhortova-Trankov if Vasiliev is able to work his magic with
them, like he did with T&M.

Somehow I just don't like Kawaguchi-Smirnov that much. They are sort of OK.

I heard that Ushakova-Karev have split.

We won't see Bazarova-Larianov for at least two years because he failed the drug test. They were the only young Russian pair I liked.
Now the news- sort of. At this point nothing's been confirmed, but it sounds like Obertas & Slavnov want to make a comeback this year, possibly at the
Russian nationals. They are not listed on any of the GP events. They had great potential but from what I read, they were not working hard, so it did not work
