They have improved a lot. Nice lines, flexibility, posture, and speed. They were a bit sloppy toward the end. What did you think of K/S's short from Worlds this year? I thought it was a big improvement for them. I wasn't perfect, but was a good step in the right direction. I posted it earlier in the Worlds section, but you never commented. Their long suffered from some of their same problems, especially after their fall on the quad.

There is an interesting thread on fsu about Russian skaters for the upcoming season. I watched a few singles skaters and they looked like skaters with a lot of potential. There is a crop of young ladies that could develop by 2014. One pair broke up, but it sounds like there are a lot of young pairs and I am hoping that they would develop by 2014. Somehow I just don't like Kawaguchi-Smirnov that much. They are sort of OK.

I heard that Ushakova-Karev have split.

We won't see Bazarova-Larianov for at least two years because he failed the drug test. They were the only young Russian pair I liked.
